Hand Driven Trike
Ben Wilson

The Hand Drive Trike follows a similar design to a modern low-slung three-wheeled bicycle. It has three large wheels, with a seat similar to a moulded plastic chair and foot supports on either side of the front wheel. The wheels, seat and frame are covered with grey and white camouflage material. The handle bars, which are used to propel the front wheel of the trike as well as to steer, are at chest height.

Within the exhibition, the trike is shown on video. The video features David, whom the trike was designed for, using it enthusiastically and with great enjoyment.
