Ergonomic Salt Glaze Ceramics
Steve Harrison

Steve Harrison's ceramics are made from a green-blue earthenware. The salt glaze used gives them a speckled appearance. His bottles with huge stoppers are shaped like decanters, while a square open dish has knobs protuding from all four sides. All are designed to be easy to grip, and in the case of the bottles with huge stoppers, easy to open. They are substantial, but not overly heavy, making them more difficult to drop. Within the exhibition, examples are available to handle.
